History of Ballooning Display
The Northam Visitor Centre will host the History of Ballooning display from 01 August to 14 September 2015. This is a free exhibition of ballooning memorabilia open to the public between 9am and 4pm each day. Contact the Northam Visitor Centre on 9622 2100 for more information.

Balloon Glow and Fiesta
The Shire of Northam will officially open the National Ballooning Championships on 29 August 2015 with the Balloon Glow and Family Fiesta.
The action will take place on the Henry Street Oval outside of the Northam Recreation Centre from 4pm - 8pm. At about 6pm in the evening the balloons will be inflated and glowing with the light of their burners so that the community can get up close and see some of the beautiful balloons that will be competing in the Championships. There will be entertainment, food and a fantastic atmosphere!

Flight Discovery Zone
Learn the science behind hot air ballooning, meet some balloon pilots and discover why the Avon Valley is WA’s ballooning centre. Head down to the Henry Street Oval outside of the Northam Recreation Centre on 29 August between 4pm and 8pm. Northam Small Farm and Business Expo
This is a family event showcasing businesses, products and services from Northam and surrounds. Visit the Northam Recreation Centre on 29 August (10am to 9pm) or 30 August (10am to 4pm) as there will be something for everyone.

Northam Art Prize
This art exhibition presented by the Avon Valley Arts Society will be open to the public for viewing from 6.30pm on 28 August to Saturday 13 September. It is a fantastic display of art by local people and will be presented in the Northam Town Hall.

Ballooning Photo Gallery
Businesses in the shopping precinct of Northam will be setting the atmosphere of the Ballooning Championships this year and will have professional photography displayed in their windows of ballooning in the Avon Valley.

The photography is open to public vote to determine which photographer has captured the best image. Take the time to walk around in the shopping precinct of Northam!

Northam Community Markets
The Northam Community Markets will be held on the Saturday 5 September (the first Saturday of every month) at Bernard Park, Northam. This is a fantastic community event ran by the Lions Club of Northam.

Link Theatre Production
The Link Theatre will be presenting supper and their production ‘Guy♂ ♀ Girl’ on 27-29 August and 03-05 September.
